Our original tanning mousse takes 6-8 hours to fully develop while our express tan only takes 4-6 hours to fully develop. Please avoid water and perspiration during this time

Yes, of course! Our formulas are safe to use on both your face and body. We do always recommend patch testing before your first use.

Our self tanner mousse can last on your skin for up to 5-7 days or longer with proper prep and regular hydration. Exfoliating prior to application can extend your tan as well as moisturizing daily to hydrate the skin. 

To prolong your tan we recommend moisturizing two times daily as well as patting your skin dry after showering. Exfoliating the skin prior to applying your tan and avoiding hot water can also help to preserve your tan. 

Your tan will naturally fade off over the course of a week or two. However, if you’d like to remove your tan sooner, we recommend using our Self Tan Remover mousse combined with an exfoliating mitt to remove the tan more effectively. 

No, our self tanner mousse does not contain SPF and does not contain sun protection. However, using a self tanner is a great alternative to sitting out in the sun. 

We highly recommend using an application mitt to avoid staining your hands and to apply your tan more evenly.

We have three shades of Nara Cosmetics Self Tanner Mousse. We recommend our Medium Shade to those who have fairer skin tones or to those looking for a subtle natural glow. Our Dark Shade is best suited for those with light to medium skin tones or those who want a deeper bronze result. Our Ultra Dark shade is for those who want the deepest dark tan possible and is best suited for those with medium to dark skin tones or experienced self tanners
